Redspire Architectural Glass Inc. is a provider of premium glass and curtain wall services that was founded in 2012 by John Mastrofini, John Stewart and Steve Mastrofini. We will ensure the success of your project through the extensive experience of our team and our focus on the early design phase of a project. Over the last four decades, we have been directly involved in the success of hundreds of projects.
JOHN MASTROFINI Technical Manager
John Mastrofini has been providing design and engineering services to the curtain wall industry for over 40 years. After graduating from the University of Toronto as a Civil Engineer, John worked with a number of glass and curtain wall companies including Pilkington Glass, Ford Glass, and AFG Glass. In 1981 he founded The Jupiter Engineering Corporation. In 2008, John wrote the Glazing Systems Specification Manual, a leading document for architects, engineers, and installers.
JOHN STEWART Operations Manager
John Stewart has been managing the fabrication and installation of curtain wall projects for over 25 years. He holds a Certificate of Trade Qualification Glazier from George Brown College. Since his first job in 1987 at Scullion Glass, John has gained invaluable experience as a senior project manager and become one of the most trusted names in the industry. John has provided his expertise at Inkan Manufacturing, Structo Glass, Tagg Industries, and BOS Glass. He has overseen $50 million worth of major projects in the past 10 years.
STEVE MASTROFINI B.A.Sc. President
Steve Mastrofini has been providing design and engineering services to the curtain wall industry since 2002. After graduating from the University of Toronto as a Computer Engineer, he combined his software skills with his understanding of curtain wall systems to found Metis Technologies Inc. He developed software applications to optimize the design and implementation of curtain wall projects. These include programs to determine the structural adequacy of curtain wall designs, automate AutoCAD frame drawing and cut sheet generation, and manage project inventory through bill of materials generation.
